Planned itinerary

Day 1: Explore the dramatic South Coast of Iceland 

After an overnight stay in Reykjavík (included in your expedition cruise to Greenland), you'll be picked up from your hotel and taken on a full-day excursion of Iceland's stunning south coast. We'll travel through coastal landscapes, marvelling at mountains, glaciers and lava fields. You'll spot volcanoes Hekla and Eyjafjallajökull as we head inland towards Seljalandsfoss and take a thrilling walk behind its cascading waters.  

Lunch will be provided along the way. We'll continue to Skógafoss, one of the country’s most beautiful waterfalls. Our last stop is the black sand of Reynisfjara beach and its majestic

Day 2: End of the adventure 

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel as your Post-Programme comes to an end. With so much to see and do in Reykjavík, you may want to stay a little longer to explore more.  

Please note we may visit these sights in a different order.

Remarks and requirements 

  • Tour starts one day after disembarkation in Nuuk, after an overnight in Reykjavik.

  • Includes walking on uneven terrain.  

  • This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility.
