Visit this small, community-owned Hebridean island, known for its dramatic coastal scenery, nature and wildlife, and native moorlands. Spot for eagles and see Eigg’s unusual geological landforms – ‘an Sgurr’ pitchstone, the Singing Sands and Laig Bay. Learn about the island’s hybrid Norse-Gaelic culture, having been fought over by Vikings and clans over the centuries.
