Breathtaking Monhegan
Your day begins with a 1.5-hour scenic boat ride to Monhegan Island, renowned for its striking natural beauty.
When we arrive at the island, you’ll join your guide for a hike along the Whitehead trail. Soak up the soul-stirring scenery and ocean views, and look out for bird life as you hike. After lunch, you’ll have time to explore at your own pace. Why not browse the art galleries and craft shops, visit the museum, see the lighthouse, or enjoy a craft ale at Monhegan Brewing Company.

Remarks/requirements: Please dress according to the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. This excursion departs and returns by public ferry. Entry to the museum and lighthouse are not included.
Walking or Activity information: Involves a high level of physical activity over an extended period, in terrain that may often be uneven, slippery and steep, including over rocks, tree roots and dirt pathways. Not suitable if you have limited mobility. Whitehead trail hike is approx. 1.5 miles.
