Into the jungle
Your tour begins with a transfer of around an hour, and along the way, you’ll learn about Belize’s rich cultural and ecological heritage with the help of your knowledgeable guide.
You’ll then embark on a 26-mile boat trip up the meandering New River deep into the jungle. Listen out for the call of howler monkeys and the flutter of tropical birds. As we arrive at the magnificent Lamanai ruins, you’ll enjoy lunch followed by a guided tour.

Remarks/requirements: Please dress according to the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, water and insect repellant are recommended. Note: climbing the ruins is not allowed during or after rain because of slippery steps. The minimum age for this tour is 4 years old.
