Explore the winter landscape on snowshoes at 1011 meters/3316 ft above the fjord. There are many winter walking opportunities around Mt. Hoven, many which offer fabulous views of the fjord and the majestic mountains. And it’s all so close, with only a spectacular five-minute cable car ride from Loen village.
The guide will meet you at the Fjordshop, next to tender port. The snowshoeing equipment will be handed out when we arrive at Mount Hoven. We set out on our hike, exploring the great wide open. We will return to Hoven Restaurant before return with Loen Skylift to the Fjordshop.
Practical information
Language: English and Norwegian.
Included: Snowshoes, poles and guide.
Remarks/requirements: Remember to bring: Hiking boots/winter boots, warm clothes, waterproof jacket + pants and backpack with water and a snack. Winter coverall, winter boots and gloves can be rented for NOK 200.
