Join your knowledgeable guide on a walk to Lews Castle. Along the way, you’ll hear about the characters and past events that have shaped Stornoway and the Isle of Lewis, and learn about modern-day island life.    

When we arrive, you can explore at your own pace. Admire the castle’s turrets and towers and enjoy spectacular views over Stornoway and beyond. Then visit the Museum nan Eilean at your leisure and learn about the heritage of the Outer Hebrides.

  • Walking or Activity information: Involves moderate physical activity on relatively gentle terrain, includes some uneven, sometimes wet ground, and some steps. Approx. 1.25 mi of walking each way.
