Moche treasures
Your tour begins at the Huacas the Moche Museum, which showcases Moche artifacts excavated from the site around the Temples of the Sun and the Moon, built in the 5th century AD.
We’ll then head to the temples themselves. Marvel at the mighty Temple of the Sun, one of the largest adobe structures in the Americas, and its smaller neighbour, the Temple of the Moon, covered with vibrant Moche designs.
Finally, we’ll stop at a typical Peruvian artisan market where you can pick up a souvenir.
