With a tapestry of mangrove-covered cays, Turneffe Atoll is a Marine Protected Area and the perfect snorkelling site. The waters are warm, crystal clear and brimming with life. 

While exploring the vibrant underwater world around the barrier reef, look out for rays, colourful fish, sea turtles and more. You may even catch a glimpse of playful dolphins and majestic manatees.

  • Walking or Activity information: Involves moderate physical activity in open water, and on relatively level surfaces and gentle terrain. Guests must be able to swim.
