For centuries, visitors have marvelled at the majesty and mystery of the Giant’s Causeway. Learn about the fascinating geology and legends surrounding the stones at the Visitor Centre, before taking a walk to see the unique rock formations themselves. Admire the rugged beauty of these natural wonders and the wild Atlantic coast - they never fail to intrigue and inspire.

Practical information

  • Remarks/requirements: Appropriate warm layered, waterproof clothing and comfortable non slip walking shoes. 

  • Walking information: Amount of walking at the Giant's Causeway is at guests discretion. Walking to/from the visitor centre to/from the stones is at guests discretion and involved steep incline/decline of approx 1km each way. (please note, the coaster shuttle is not in operation at the causeway).  

  • Wheelchair accessible: No.

  • Language: English.
