Your tour begins with a scenic bus ride along the Hardangerfjord coastline, before climbing up through the Blådalen valley to reach the edge of the Folgefonna National Park.
We’ll pause to take pictures at Fjellhaugwater and Blafell hydropower plant which supplies much of the electricity for southern Norway. At the ski cente, we’ll stop to enjoy waffles and coffee, and you can choose to walk to the viewpoint to soak in the vistas overlooking the mountains.
Practical information
Remarks/requirements: Please wear warm layered clothing and comfortable walking shoes. This excursion involves a bus drive on mountainous roads which can be steep and winding.
Walking information: Involves moderate physical activity on relatively level surfaces and gentle terrain. Includes an optional 0.2-mile walk with a slight incline over grassy and uneven ground.
