A city brimming with charm and history
After a panoramic drive, we arrive at the Tower of Hercules. The legendary burial site of a giant killed by Hercules, this Roman lighthouse is the last still in use worldwide. Continuing our tour, we head to the charming former island fortress of St Anthony's Castle.
Then on a walking tour of La Coruña’s old town, you’ll admire the enchanting buildings of Plaza de Azcárraga, see Sir John Moore’s tomb in San Carlos Gardens, and revel in the grandeur of the city’s municipal centre at Plaza María Pita. Enjoy some free time before we return.
