A restored castle
Standing proudly on a clifftop guarding the Sound of Mull, Duart Castle enjoys one of the most spectacular positions on the west coast of Scotland. After falling into ruins, the castle was repurchased and restored in 1911 by Sir Fitzroy Maclean. Relive the past with a walk through the keep and the dungeons, and see objects of historical interest displayed in the exhibition of clan history.
