Off the beaten path  

The Gobbins is a spectacular place with unbelievable history. This guided tour takes you along a narrow path that hugs the cliff-face, passing over bridges, crossing crashing waves, climbing rugged staircases and venturing into caves once frequented by smugglers and privateers. This is an unmissable, dramatic coastal path for adventurous souls.

Practical information

  • Remarks/requirements: Warm, waterproof clothing and comfortable, waterproof hiking shoes are essential. 

  • Walking information: Walking involved: Walking along the Gobbins Cliff path is extensive. There are uneven surfaces to navigate, small pathways, incline, decline and steps. Walkways are slim in width in places and along cliff faces. All necessary safety precautions are in place including barriers and capacity restrictions.  Guests must walk the linear 3 mile route.
