Enjoy a narrated drive up the Haines Highway and see historic Haines and Fort William H. Seward on the way.
See native wildlife, like moose and swans in the marshlands, and eagles, bears, and wolves by the river.
Relax and take in the view as you float through the heart of the Bald Eagle Preserve.
Be treated to a picnic lunch before returning to Haines and joining your ship at the pier.
River rafting
Take a transfer to the Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve, and after a safety talk and lifejacket fitting, your river float adventure begins. Float silently downstream aboard inflatable rafts and spot predators drawn by the salmon: eagles, bears and maybe even wolves. Admire the preserve’s incredible beauty, with its towering mountains, hanging glaciers, and lush forests. After your float, you'll enjoy a picnic.
