Enjoy a scenic drive to cliffs alive with marine birds, including puffins, fulmars, and guillemots. You’ll see farmhouse ruins dating back to 900 CE in Herjólfsdalur valley, and at the viewpoint on Stórhöfði you’ll enjoy the views of glaciers on the mainland. Afterwards, we pass the volcanoes Helgafell and Eldfell, drive over lava fields, and see a buried house.
