Step into the shoes of 18th century explorer Alxander von Humboldt, the Prussian naturalist climbed Mount Teide in 1799. Today, you’ll traverse the foothills of this active volcano. Starting at Montaña Blanca, you’ll climb along a gravel road, stopping at El Portillo for stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. Descend through the Cañadas and head to a local restaurant for tapas and wine.
