See Nuuk Town Hall, decorated with beautiful local wall tapestries. Visit the national cultural centre Katuaq and admire the stunning modern architecture inspired by the Northern Lights. In the Greenland National Museum and Archives, learn about the country’s fascinating history. Admire the statue of the orphaned Kaassassuk and hear his fascinating story. Visit the red wooden Church of Our Saviour, from 1849. It has a pleasant view over Colonial Harbour. Visit the house of Lutheran missionary Hans Egede from 1728, today used for government receptions.
