Shepherd for a day  

Meet a modern-day sheep farmer, who still uses sheepdogs for herding, on a visit to Glenshane Country Farm, high up on Glenshane Pass. You’ll have the chance to participate in an authentic farm experience where the patron saint of Ireland, St Patrick, was once a shepherd. Spend time in the fields and help herd a sheep flock by learning how to issue instructions to the talented working sheepdogs.

  • Remarks/requirements: We recommend that guests wear warm, layered, waterproof clothing and comfortable non slip walking shoes. 

  • Walking information: Walk from Coach onto farm (100 metres). 

  • Wheelchair accessible: No.
