Welsh Patagonia

Join us on a guided town walk of Puerto Madryn, founded in 1865 by a group of 150 Welsh immigrants to preserve the Welsh language and culture. On our walk, we’ll see the Monument to the Welsh Settlers. Then stroll through the original settlement’s grid of streets, learn about the early history of Puerto Madryn, and visit the Provincial Museum of Natural History and Oceanography.
