  • Walk through the paths and visit from outside Capela de Fatima and Ponta Do Sol Lighthouse.

  • Reach to Cabo Santa Maria and see the ship remains of a shipwreck.

  • Have some free time and a refreshments before the return to Sal Rei.

Sal Rei is a small village with colours and maybe some European-inspiration, with some evidence of a rich commercial past, when the island was exporting salt, dyes for textiles, cotton, cattle, lime and pottery in large quantities.

Your tour begins towards the centre of Sal Rei.

You will walk towards the paths that are leading to the Capela of Fatima, where a photo stop will be provided as you will enjoy dramatic views from the top of the hill where is located.  Take some breath and continue the walk towards Ponta do Sol and Lighthouse, have a short time for pictures. Re-start again the walking towards the final stop, the Famous beach at Cabo Santa Maria. In Cabo Santa Maria will delighted with the quietness of the long beach and observe from the distance the well-known remains of an old ship stranded on the sand of the beach for decades. Our team will prepare some refreshments before to return back to the vessel but  this time from the comfort of a bus on panoramic drive.
