Have you heard? The Galápagos Islands are overflowing with unique bird species. Many of the birds found across the archipelago cannot be found anywhere else in the world. When you explore, look out for these unique species. Depending on the season in which you are travelling, you will have the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife.

Greenland’s northernmost point is just 708 km away from the North Pole and forms part of the Arctic Circle. While the noun Arctic refers to that geographical area, ‘arctic’ is also widely recognised as an adjective to describe something as ‘extremely cold’. With that in mind, Greenland’s climate can definitely be described as arctic.

How to get to Svalbard and what to do there.

HX Expeditions is a participant in the Norwegian Polar Institute’s project to register marine mammals in the Arctic. Gathering this data improves insight of habitat use and seasonal migration patterns and is also used in The Environmental Monitoring of Svalbard.
