Exploring Nome

Your tour begins with a short drive out of the city, where we hope to spot some of Alaska’s iconic musk oxen in their natural habitat.

Heading back, you’ll get the opportunity to explore Nome at your own pace. You can take a stroll to the statue of the explorer Roald Amundsen, who ended three of his great polar expeditions in the city, or learn more about the culture of this unique place by taking part in activities organized by the local people.
