Growing Cacao
This four-hour tour takes you to the Indigenous Ngäbe community to learn how they produce the famous “Criollo” cacao beans, which are sought after by chocolatiers around the world.
You’ll learn step by step how this resilient community plants the cacao trees, harvests, roasts and grinds the beans, and then produces delicious traditional chocolate.
