This excursion will take you from beautiful Rosendal on a scenic road along the fjords to Sunndal. After this fantastic view, you will arrive at the trail and start the hike to Bondhus Lake. This historic trail was created in 1822 and nicknamed the ‘Ice Road’. The name comes from its original purpose: the transport of ice from the Folgefanna, which was needed to conserve food items.
