Picnic at Moose Meadows

After a scenic drive to Chilkat State Park, you’ll begin your 3-mile round-trip hike through temperate rainforest to Moose Meadows. Throughout your journey, your naturalist guide will share knowledge about the local flora and fauna.

When we reach Moose Meadows, you’ll be met with magnificent glacier views across the fjord, and you may even see some moose grazing nearby. We’ll enjoy a beachside picnic here surrounded by beautiful scenery. If we have time, we’ll continue hiking south along the coast before heading back.
