Spend the day exploring Runavík at your own pace and see all that this charming town has to offer.

  • Go birdwatching on a hike near Lake Toftavatn and experience the ‘Nature’s Artwork’ exhibition.

  • Find the perfect handmade gift at the souvenir shop and enjoy a free art exhibition across the street.

  • Book a driving guide at the Tourist Information Center to see sights farther from the harbor.


Runavík in a day

After disembarking, visit the Tourist Information Center to help you decide how to spend the day. Browse the souvenir shop for local handicrafts and wool products, head to the Town Hall for a free art exhibition, or go for a hike around Lake Toftavatn. You’ll also enjoy a welcoming performance on the green area in front of Hotel Runavík, Við Løkin, with either Faroese musicians or chain dance.
