Day 1: Overnight in Glasgow

Your Pre-Program begins with an overnight stay at a hotel in Glasgow. Depending on when you arrive, enjoy some free time and the evening at your leisure.

Day 2: Hike at Loch Katrine and Stirling Castle

After breakfast at your hotel, your knowledgeable local guide will take you to beautiful Loch Katrine in the Trossachs, where you’ll enjoy a hike and a picnic lunch. You’ll follow the Brenachoile Trail along the picturesque shoreline of Loch Katrine to Brenachoile Point, which offers panoramic views across the loch.

In the afternoon, you’ll enjoy a guided tour of the magnificent Stirling Castle, which sits high on a rocky hill overlooking the city. One of Scotland's most important historic sites, the castle has been home to many pivotal monarchs, and some of Scotland's most famous battles took place in the surrounding areas.

Back at the hotel, the evening is yours to enjoy as you please.

Day 3: Cruise on Loch Lomond and countryside walk in Luss

After breakfast, you’ll check out of your hotel and join your guide for the journey to Loch Lomond. Loch Lomond is a stunning freshwater lake crossed by the Highland Boundary Fault, with the Lowlands to the south and Highlands to the north. As you cruise around this serene loch, relax and soak up the majestic Scottish scenery.

After your cruise, we’ll head to Luss for an hour-long walk through the charming village and surrounding countryside. You’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at a local pub or restaurant before transferring to your ship to begin your expedition cruise.
