Participate in a worthy cause and give back to the local area.
Learn about the area, its people, and its wildlife.
Departing the pier, travel to a coastal location to meet your local Clean Coasts volunteer. Before beginning your clean-up, take a brief introduction to the area and the work of Clean Coasts. Clean Coasts is a non-profit organization. With the assistance of volunteers, they engage with communities to protect Ireland’s beaches, seas, and marine life. Surrounded by water, the island of Ireland has an area of over 52,000 sq. miles and has some of the most beautiful coastlines in the world. Visit the coast today and learn about the important work of Clean Coasts. Then take part in these projects. With the aid of a handheld picker, gloves, and bag, partake in a beach clean-up as your volunteer walks you through the landscape.
