En route, you can choose to stop at the city’s striking landmark, the 30-ft “Man Meets the Sea” sculpture, which gazes out over the horizon. The sculptures were installed in 1995 to celebrate the city’s 100th anniversary. You’ll find the center of Esberg to be a blend of historic charm and modern Scandinavian chic.
