National Park visit

Visit one of the branches of Jostedalsbreen, the largest glacier in continental Europe. Learn more about these natural wonders at the award-winning Norwegian Glacier Museum – and admire the stunning architecture while you’re there. After a short intro, explore this interactive and educational museum at your leisure.

Practical information

  • Requires small boat tendering to get ashore

  • Comfortable walking shoes, backpack, and water bottle recommended. 

  • Walking information: Some walking required at the site of the glacier. Terrain can be rocky and uneven. Just approx 2-300 meters walk in total.  

  • Included: Bus transport – guide at the glacier – entrance ticket to the Norwegian glacier museum.

  • Languages: English and Norwegian
