Head out into the fjords in a two-person kayak to paddle among the eagles and marine life.
  • Kayak safely with the help of a professional guide, detailed instructions, and reliable safety equipment.

  • Get the chance to see eagles and marine mammals such as sea lions, Dall’s porpoises, and seals.

  • Enjoy a waterside lunch in a private picnic area on the beach and take in the sea view.

  • You may even be able to kayak on Chilkoot Lake, surrounded by mountains with alpine waterfalls and salmon spawning beds.

Paddling in paradise

Your two-person kayak awaits on the beach next to the ferry pier. After a safety briefing and equipment fitting, you and your paddling partner will set off looking for eagles and marine life. You’ll likely stop at a remote beach to stretch your legs before heading back for a picnic lunch. In the case of unsuitable ocean conditions, we’ll head to our backup location, Chilkoot Lake.

*While we're excited to share the unique flavors of this region with you, it’s important to note that allergy awareness and hygiene standards can vary widely across the world. The local community providing food for this tour may not be as familiar with allergy concerns or preparation standards as suppliers in your home country or the expert chefs onboard our ships. As a precaution, we advise anyone with a severe food allergy to contact a member of the onboard Expedition Team before booking this excursion.
