Pico Branco
Second-highest peak on the island
Charming hike
Free time at viewpoints (photo ops)
This hike is located at the northeastern tip of the island and will take you to the top of the second-highest peak on the island, Pico Branco. It is said that the path was originally designed to facilitate the passage of donkeys when growing barley in Terra Chã. It is a charming hike. The paths run through the peak, and you can see the mountains, cliffs, the beach, the sea, and the beautiful mountain curves composed of fantastic rock formations, which mix with the region’s typical flora and fauna.
