Your hike up the mountain begins along a beautiful forest path from Hoya del Morcillo. Pine trees give way to lava ash fields, and at around noon you’ll reach Malpaso, the highest point on the island. Take in panoramic views of the surrounding isles from the peak before descending via gentle forest slopes. The bus will then take you to the Mirador de la Peña, which was designed by Canarian architect Cesar Manrique.
