Go wildlife spotting around the Vesterålen archipelago aboard a RIB boat and admire the beautiful islands.
  • Enjoy the exhilarating speed of a RIB

  • Admire the stunning scenery of the Vesterålen archipelago

  • Gain insight into the salmon-farming process at Jostein Albert

  • Listen to the guides tell local stories

Feel the wind in your hair as we speed through serene waters in a RIB. Admire breathtaking natural scenery all around you and keep an eye out for local wildlife.

Sea eagles and gannets are often spotted in the area. Those with a keen eye might catch sight of white-tailed eagles looking for prey. Have your camera ready to snap photos of these special moments that you can take home to remember your cruise. Look out for colonies of harbor seals on the shores of the islands we pass and keep your eyes peeled for lone seals peeking their heads above the water.

Later on in the trip, we may also head to a working sea farm, Jostein Albert, which is anchored west of Hadseløya island. Here, you’ll learn about the salmon-farming process and discover plans for the future of the industry. After we leave, we might pass by the small fishing village of Melbu, which offers great views of the area from the shore.

Throughout the trip, our boat drivers and guides will share their knowledge about the region, interspersing their explanations with local stories and giving you great insight into everyday life in Vesterålen.
