  • Walk through the historic center of Douarnenez to Port Musée.

  • Visit the collections of historic artifacts at the Maritime Museum of Douarnenez.

  • Step aboard the old boats moored in picturesque Port Rhu.

The Maritime Museum of Douarnenez is located in an old cannery in Port Rhu, just a short distance from the ship.

The museum offers over 30,000 square feet of exhibitions and around 10,000 objects connected to the maritime world, including over 280 boats. The museum has a dugout canoe from Guinea-Bissau, a 100-foot factory ship, and 19th-century workboats, as well as four large historic boats docked outside that visitors can board and explore from deck to hold.
