  • Soak up the verdant views as you explore the wilderness of Alaska’s largest island.

Bear country

Aboard our small expedition boats, we’ll head along the coast of Kodiak Island, scouting for wildlife and admiring the lush views.

As we explore by sea, you’ll experience the verdant forests and pristine coastline of the island, and if we’re lucky, we may even spot one of its most famous residents, the Kodiak bear – one of the largest in the world. The island is also an important stop for migratory birds, so scan the skies to see which species you can spot.
