Don’t miss this opportunity to see some of the most interesting places in Nuuk, the capital of Greenland! Join a sightseeing tour of the town before you visit the National Museum, which provides a glimpse into Greenland’s interesting past.
  • Sightseeing tour in Nuuk

  • See the famous Qilakitsoq mummies at the National Museum.

  • Visit the Katuaq Cultural Center.

  • See the city hall.

Your local guide will bring you to the first stop by bus from the harbor. The first stop is the Town Hall, featuring the beautifully decorated conference room. Hanging on the walls are locally made tapestries created by local artists. Local politicians meet in this room, which is also used for weddings. After this visit, the tour continues to Greenland's national Cultural Center, which contains a café, exhibition area, and a cinema. After the Cultural Center, the guide will take you past the only mall in Greenland, Nuuk Center. Your next stop is by the statue of the orphaned legend Kaassassuk, where the guide will tell you his story. Greenland's Parliament is next to the statue. Before moving to the next stop, your guide will speak about Greenlandic politics. The next stop on the walk is the Church of Our Savior, which was built from 1948–1849. The church has a beautiful view of Colonial Harbor, where Hans Egede arrived in 1728. Before arriving to the end of the walk, you’ll pass the old hospital, traditional Greenlandic Kayaks, and the house of Hans Egede.
