Travel by minivan to several different habitats, including freshwater wetlands, saltwater marshes, forest edges, and rocky shorelines, to search for the birds that call this their home. The diversity of nearby local habitats could include species such as the American bald eagle, osprey, brood-winged hawk, many warbler species, wading birds, and waterfowl. Keep your eyes open for northern specialties like the black guillemot, common eider, piliated woodpecker and many others.

  • Remarks/requirements: Dress appropriately for the weather. We recommend trekking shoes, binoculars, a full water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray, sunglasses, and a hat.

  • Walking information: Walking on uneven terrain is required.
