Stroll through the quaint town of Skagen and take in the special atmosphere. Marvel at the breathtaking art at the Skagen Art Museum.

Feel the charm of the quaint town of Skagen on this walking tour that takes you through the picturesque alleys in the old town. Enjoy the characteristic ‘Skagen Yellow’ houses, surrounded by white fences and neat gardens. Soak in the atmosphere of the vibrant marina area, which thousands of yachts visit each year. Then see the former fishmongers' wooden houses and the many seafood eateries. Locals and tourists alike sit in the sun for a cool and refreshing beer at the popular spots along the waterfront. The tour continues through the town, passing Anna and Michael Ancher’s house and the famous Brøndum Hotel, where many of the artists stayed and gathered. We will then visit the Skagen Museum, dedicated to the world-famous Skagen painters. Marvel at the paintings, drawings, sculptures, and handicrafts made by the artists working in Skagen between 1870 and 1930. This includes the former Brøndum Dining Room, featuring paintings of the artists in the paneling, which was transferred from the hotel in 1946. The walk continues through the lovely town back to the pier.
