Foodie Experience

The first stop is Quepos market, where you’ll find a cornucopia of fresh produce.   

A 30-minute transfer then takes you to Tucanes Farm, home to goats, turkeys, cows, peacocks and more. You can stroll through the organic garden here and hand-select ingredients for your cooking lesson. Next, with your local chef, you’ll master the recipes for traditional corn tortillas, banana ceviche and the classic dish, achiote chicken. 

Afterwards, you’ll indulge in the sumptuous Costa Rican cuisine you helped prepare.

Practical information

  • Included: Dishes crafted with seasonal ingredients (vegetarian options available) 

  • Remarks/requirements: Please wear light clothing and comfortable walking shoes. Sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses and insect repellent are recommended.  

  • Walking or Activity information: Involves limited physical activity. There is less than two miles of walking over paved and unpaved terrain that is sometimes uneven.
