Fortress village and cathedral
Views of Galicia and Portugal
Taste local food and wine.
Depart from Vigo to the south of the province of Pontevedra, arriving at Tui. This city is located on a hill and next to the Portuguese border, by the Mino river. The cathedral was built in the 12th century, but frequent invasions led to it being converted into a fortress studded with battlements. Its tower forms a magnificent balcony over the river, and from it the city seems to be terraced out of the hill.
From here, we will head to the Parador and enjoy two different wines from this part of the province, with two different snacks to enhance the tasting.
Return to Vigo.
