See snowcapped peaks if you visit in the springtime. In the summer and fall, visit a traditional shieling – a shepherd’s shelter – and the village’s summer grazing meadows. On this hike, you’ll learn about Norway’s farming history up close.

Remarks/requirements:Backpack with water bottle, extra clothing, sunglasses recommended. Comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots recommended. Participants should be in good health.
Walking information:This hike can be up to 7km, along a gravel road. The first portion of the walk is uphill. Alternative shorter hikes in the area may be arranged.
