Cruise Overview

Elemental landscapes and unique wildlife

12-day expedition cruise from Oslo, beginning in Longyearbyen and attempting a full circumnavigation of the Svalbard archipelago

12-day expedition cruise from Oslo, beginning in Longyearbyen and attempting a full circumnavigation of the Svalbard archipelago

The edge of the world

Your adventure begins in Oslo with a flight to Longyearbyen, the world’s northernmost town. An overnight stay gives you time to explore before we attempt to cross the 80th parallel north. Explore Svalbard’s stunning nature reserves where seabirds such as Brünnich’s guillemots and kittiwakes nest on the soaring cliffs.

Journey of discovery

On land, be sure to keep an eye out for reindeer and the elusive polar bear, and at sea, you’ll catch sight of whales and seals as we head for the fjords of Hornsund. Learn about the history of Arctic whalers and explorers as we continue to Isfjord before returning to Longyearbyen.
